Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire – see the tree lions
Today morning our safari guide will meet you at your hotel, brief you about the safari and then begin the two hours drive to Tarangire National Park. Once inside the park you will see several animals and birds including the largest population of elephants in northern Tanzania. The park’s terrain is greatly varied with seasonal swamps and large savannah. You will have a game drive and later proceed to Tarangire Sopa Lodge where you will dine and spend this night.

Day 2: Tarangire Game Drive – See Elephants
After breakfast you will set out on a walking safari led by an experienced guided and an armed park ranger for a closer encounter with the gifts of Mother Nature. The major focus will be on the smaller wild animals as well as the various birds.
You will have lunch back at the lodge and then go for a game drive in the back to see the amazing wildlife living here. In the evening you will return for dinner and the overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge
Day 3: Visit Gibb’ Farm
Today as you transfer to the gate of Gibb’s farm, you will see a number of animals a number of which you may not have encountered before. You will continue to Mto wa Mbu a multi-cultural town leaving the Great Rift Valley behind you and entering into the highlands rich with vegetation where you will enjoy views of Lake Manyara and the Masai Plains. From here you will proceed to Karatu and check into Kitela Lodge found in the middle of a coffee plantation and offers breathtaking views.
Day 4: Transfer and Explore the Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend down the high walls into the renowned Ngorongoro Crater whose floor is swarmed with thousands of different wild animals. you will have a game drive here during which you will encounter various animals including four of the legendary Africa’s Big Five animals – rhinos, lions, buffaloes and elephants among several other species.
Day 5: Explore the Cradle Of Mankind.
After breakfast transfer to Serengeti National Park, found within the vast Serengeti plains where you will visit a number of archaeological sites to see some of the ancient discoveries that were made such as the 1.7-million- year Zinjanthropus boisei fossil estimated to be over 1.7 million years old. There is also a small museum found here where you will be able to see understand the several discoveries that Dr. Leakey and his wife made. You will encounter a number of wild animals including: Elephants, topi, Wildebeests, Buffaloes, thomson’s gazelles, lions, grant’s gazelles, Cheetahs, Zebras, Hyenas and Giraffes. You will spend the night at Tortilis Camp.
Day 6 & 7: Search for Predators
During these two days, you will explore the vast Serengeti while doing game drives during which you will encounter various animals. In the months of November and December, the park is receiving short rains and the wildebeest migratory herd has moved from the hills up in the north down into the plains found in the south. The longer rains start in April all through to June and during this time the herd returns north. Because the animal’s movement totally depends on the yearly rainfall, the location of this herd may differ year after year however the good news is that your guide will be aware of their location. You will spend the night at Tortillis Camp.
Day 8: Return to Arusha – Departure
This will be the final day of our safari. After a nice breakfast your safari guide will transfer you to the airstrip for a flight back to Arusha airport where you will catch your departure flight back home
